Thrust bearings are designed to carry axial loads acting along the shaft's axis of rotation. Their design ensures precise positioning of rotating assemblies, stable mechanism operation and high reliability under significant axial forces. Depending on their design, thrust bearings can carry load in one or both directions, and can combine axial loads with limited radial loads.
High manufacturing precision, the use of modern materials and special heat treatment allow thrust bearings to operate effectively at high rotational speeds, elevated temperatures and intensive operating loads.
